As part of a grant for alternative fuel vehicle infrastructure projects, CuseCar implemented its Preparing for the Future Alternative Energy Infrastructure Project in the Syracuse Metropolitan Area.
CuseCar operates a community car-sharing program headquartered in Syracuse to enhance the existing transportation system and develop additional, complimentary sustainable alternatives. Installation of electric vehicle charging stations will be done at designated locations throughout the Syracuse Metropolitan Area. The Farmers Market parking lot in downtown Syracuse is the first such location.
PEC was Contracted to Install Electric Conduit and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at the Syracuse Farmers Market.
* Notify UFPO. * Pull City of Syracuse Permits. * Saw Cut an Estimated 270 of Asphalt. * Excavate a Trench 3 x 3 x 250. * Install (10) HDPE 36 Riser Pipes at each Pulling Station. * Run Separate 1 ½ Conduit for each Station and Stub Up and Cap. * Install (2) 2 8 Sleeves to 4 Below Grade for Future Bollard Installation. * Backfill Trench to 95% Compaction with Item 4 Stone. * Place 3 of Asphalt Binder to Meet Existing Grade. * Survey Future Foundations in Place. * Load, Transport and Dispose of all Spoils.
